Job summary

Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 nurse for an inpatient forensic service in Southampton. The role offers working with a new female ward; you will provide care within a secure environment for adults 18-65, under the Mental Health Act.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse with professional NMC registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 inpatient care across an acute care pathway.
• Assess care needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans.
• Carry out care with service users, carers and other professionals and take charge of a ward in the absence of a charge nurse.
