Quantuma, a fast-growing UK advisory firm, is expanding its Forensic Team in Birmingham and seeks a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) to handle disputes, investigations and valuations. You will work on a range of engagements, support Experts, and progress within a supportive leadership structure.

Qualifications

• Ideally you will be a recently Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA) with some experience in forensic accounting looking to develop your experience in disputes, valuations and investigations.
• We would also be interested in those who are keen to embark on a career within Forensic Accounting who perhaps do not yet have any direct experience in this field but have experience in another project based service line such as corporate finance, due diligence or insolvency and feel they have the commitment to develop forensic accounting skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparing valuation calculations using cost, market and income approaches, including researching comparable deals and suitable indices
• Supporting Experts in a range of forensic engagements - shareholder disputes, M&A related disputes, Matrimonial disputes, negligence claims and personal injury and clinical negligence claims
• Drafting well written expert witness and advisory reports in disputes involving valuation, loss of profits etc
• Creating and enhancing relationships with referrers and clients through providing outstanding client service and attending events
