SmartestEnergy Business Limited is seeking a Forecasting Analyst to join our industry-leading forecasting team to develop and enhance electricity demand and renewable generation forecasts, applying data science to drive commercial value and support trading performance.
You will collaborate with Trading, Data and Technology teams to implement models on our evolving cloud-based platform, validate methodologies, and explore new data sources to improve forecasting accuracy and decision support.

We're looking for a talented Forecasting Analyst to join our industry-leading Forecasting team. This is an opportunity to play a critical role in one of the UK's most innovative renewable energy businesses, where your work will directly influence trading performance, reduce imbalance costs and support the transition to a smarter, cleaner energy system.
Working alongside experienced forecasting specialists and reporting to the Head of Forecasting, you'll develop and enhance the models, data and forecasting capabilities that underpin our electricity trading operations. You'll have the freedom to innovate, test new approaches and help shape the next generation of forecasting technology.
