Job summary

Morson Edge is actively seeking a Forecast & Demand Planner for a client in Goole. This predominantly onsite role offers 40 hours per week, with flexible hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm) and an ongoing agency contract.

The position provides an immediate start and the opportunity to contribute to planning and forecasting activities. You will forecast, plan material orders, analyze forecast data, and coordinate delivery schedules to support smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in forecasting, planning, or demand planning roles.
  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills.
  • Proficiency with IT systems and confident handling data.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles.
  • Experience with Syncron or Power BI is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

  • Forecast and plan material orders based on consumption and demand trends.
  • Analyse and validate forecast data to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain planning schedules and manage overhaul requirements.
  • Coordinate material releases and delivery schedules.
  • Manage associated purchase requests efficiently.
  • Identify, elevate, and resolve planning issues promptly.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to drive continuous improvements.
  • Collaborate closely with material controllers, project managers, operational teams, and fellow planners.
  • Support the development and maintenance of forecasting and demand planning processes.

The Role
