Job summary

Red Snapper Recruitment is recruiting a Force Intelligence Team Leader for the Force Intelligence Bureau in Preston to supervise Intelligence Officers and ensure high-quality intelligence is effectively managed and shared. You will work with the Detective Sergeant, delivering intelligence across the organisation and contributing to operational policing.

Strong leadership and experience in intelligence are essential.

• Experience researching, evaluating and disseminating intelligence.
• Experience supervising intelligence within a professional environment.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Experience using specialist databases and information systems.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in collecting, analysing and recording information.
• Ability to identify patterns and trends in complex data.
• Strong decision-making and action orientation.
• Collaborative work with internal and external departments or agencies.
• Good IT skills including MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, support and prioritise the work of Intelligence Officers, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Receive, evaluate, research, develop and disseminate information from multiple sources.
• Support the intelligence hub with effective services and management.
• Handle information requests from police forces and external agencies promptly.
• Research intelligence using specialist databases and law enforcement systems.
• Develop relationships with internal and external partners to aid information sharing.
• Provide guidance on intelligence matters in support of policing.
• Attend briefings/meetings and deliver intelligence-related presentations.
