We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and inspiring Food Technology Tutor to join our dedicated team. This is more than a teaching role – it is an opportunity to help young people rediscover trust, develop life skills, and experience success through creativity, structure and meaningful relationships. Our pupils may have experienced trauma or complex backgrounds, but with the right support, consistency and care they can thrive – and your role will be central to that journey.

You will bring food technology to life in a way that builds independence, resilience and pride, while ensuring lessons are accessible, differentiated and safe for learners with a wide range of additional needs. You will create a calm, purposeful and nurturing learning environment and support pupils’ emotional wellbeing and personal development. Flexibility is key, as you will also provide cover when required and support learning across the wider curriculum.
We reserve the right to close the vacancy early if we receive a high volume of suitable applications.
All applicants will be subject to social media checks and successful applicants will undergo a fully enhanced DBS check.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and young people.
