We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher for a full‑time, long‑term role at a welcoming secondary school in Bexhill, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging practical Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4
  • Supervise students during hands‑on cooking and food preparation activities
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised classroom environment
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with the DT department to support curriculum planning
  • Benefit from weekly PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) time
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Food Technology
  • A valid Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above)
  • Experience delivering practical food lessons in a secondary school setting
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
