Qualifications

  • Hold QTS status, equivalent teaching qualification or relevant teaching experience.
  • Strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
  • Experience of teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting is essential.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.

Salary: £32,916 – £51,047 depending on experience and pay scale.

The roles will be full time starting in January 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year.

  • Plan and deliver both practical and theory based Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Inspire and educate students through hands‑on cooking experiences, creative projects and engaging lessons.
  • Attend parents' evenings and departmental meetings after school where required.
Qualifications
  • Hold QTS status, equivalent teaching qualification or have relevant teaching experience.
  • Have strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
  • Experience of teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting is essential.
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
