Job summary

I C TALENT is seeking a dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join Peterborough secondary schools on a range of placements, from daily supply to long-term roles. You will deliver engaging KS3- KS5 lessons and support students to achieve strong progress.

Hold QTS/QTL S and bring solid subject knowledge, practical cooking skills, and a commitment to inclusive teaching. DBS checks and right to work are required; a supportive consultant will guide you.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS, QTLS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience is highly advantageous).
• Have strong subject knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, health and safety, and practical cooking techniques.
• Are passionate about delivering engaging and inclusive Food Technology lessons.
• Have excellent classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Can build positive relationships with students, colleagues and parents.
• Are committed to raising attainment and supporting student progress.
• ECTs and experienced Food Technology Teachers are both encouraged to apply.
