Salary: £32,916 – £51,047 depending on experience and payscale.

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking enthusiastic Food Technology teachers to work in a range of secondary schools in the Thanet area. The roles will be full time starting in January 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year.
The role
- Plan and deliver both practical and theory based Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
- Inspire and educate students through hands‑on cooking experiences, creative projects and engaging lessons.
- Attend parents evenings and departmental meetings after school where required.
Requirements
- Hold QTS status, an equivalent teaching qualification, or have relevant teaching experience.
- Have strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4.
- Experience of teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting is essential.
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, overseas police clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
