Job summary

Contract Type: Long Term
Start Date: Immediate
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Full-Time)

Responsibilities
  • Teach Food Technology across KS3, KS4 & KS5.
  • Class sizes are small (5-8 students) to ensure personalized learning.
  • Deliver engaging, practical lessons that develop cooking and catering skills.
  • Implement Positive Behaviour Strategies and maintain a calm, supportive classroom environment.
  • Experience teaching or working with students with special educational needs, particularly Autism.
  • Strong practical background in food preparation, catering, or related fields.
  • Ability to plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and students.
  • Resilience, patience, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce DBS Certificate registered on the update service.
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and innovative teaching techniques.
