Qualifications

Location: Dover

Start Date: January 2026 - full time

Salary: £32,916 - £51,047 depending on experience and payscale

Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking enthusiastic Food Technology teachers to work in a range of secondary schools in the Dover area. The roles will be full time starting in January 2026 and continuing until the end of the academic year!

The role
  • Plan and deliver both practical and theory-based Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Inspire and educate students through hands‑on cooking experiences, creative projects and engaging lessons
  • Attend parents evenings and Departmental meetings after school where required
Requirements
  • Hold QTS status, equivalent teaching qualification or have relevant teaching experience
  • Have strong subject knowledge of the Food Technology curriculum across KS3 and KS4
  • Experience of teaching Food Technology in a secondary school setting is essential
  • Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
  • Legal right to work in the UK
