Overview

Food Technology Teacher - SEN School - KS3 to KS5 - London Borough of Greenwich - Salary dependent on experience. Position available ASAP.

Responsibilities

• Teach Food Technology to students across KS3 to KS5 within an SEN setting.
• Support students with special needs and contribute to a classroom environment that fosters inclusion.
• Utilise strong behaviour management skills and create engaging, creative lesson plans.
• Work with teaching assistants and a food technician to deliver lessons effectively.
• Adapt communication and instruction to accommodate students with speech and language difficulties.

School

Located in the inner London Borough of Greenwich, this Secondary SEN School caters to students with varied needs including SpLD, ASD and SEMH. The School has over 150 students on roll, offers KS3 to KS5, and has class sizes of around 6-10 students. The curriculum is tailored to meet students’ needs and prepare them for life beyond school.
