Food Technician - Full Time

Long‑term temporary cover starting January 2026 and ongoing. The school provides a welcoming and inclusive environment where pupils feel safe and supported. Duties
  • Prepare and organise ingredients and equipment for Food Technology lessons
  • Maintain and manage kitchen equipment and ensure a safe working environment
  • Assist teachers in setting up practical activities and demonstrations
  • Monitor stock levels and order supplies as required
  • Support pupils during practical sessions where appropriate
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the Food Technology department
  • Contribute to the smooth running of the department
Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience working in a Food Technology department or similar role is desirable
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and pupils
