Job summary

Philosophy Education is seeking a Food Technician based in Harrow to support the delivery of Food Technology lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will help prepare practical sessions, set up equipment, and ensure health and safety standards in a school kitchen environment.

The successful candidate should have a Food background and hold an Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one). This is a temporary-permanent role with a start date in September at Harrow Secondary School.

Qualifications

• Hardworking and passionate with a Food background.
• Enhanced DBS on the update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of Food Technology lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5.
• Set up practical lessons and equipment under the direction of the Senior Food Technician or Food technology teacher.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety in the kitchen and classroom.
• Assist in lessons and tidying up after practicals as required.
