Food Service Assistant
Liverpool

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Food Service Assistants to join our team and support the delivery of high-quality food and service at our clients site in Liverpool. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our catering service runs smoothly across the main restaurant, hospitality events, and vending services, all while delivering excellent service to our customers.

What you'll do:

Assist in preparing and presenting food to Sodexo and client standards across daily service and events.

Serve meals and beverages to customers efficiently and professionally.

Operate tills accurately, ensuring all transactions are recorded and customer flow is maintained.

Maintain cleanliness in kitchen, counters, storage, and service areas at all times.

Operate dishwashers and support effective kitchen flow.

Refill and maintain stock levels and cleanliness of vending machines.

Record food temperatures and wastage as required.

Comply fully with food hygiene, health & safety, and COSHH regulations.

Work flexibly across duties and support colleagues to uphold a "One Team" culture.

What you'll bring:

Previous experience in a busy catering or food service environment.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Confident using a till and handling cash accurately.

A team player who can also work independently when needed.

Awareness of food hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety standards.

Flexible and willing to learn new skills.
