Domestic Assistant & Food Service Assistant (Dual Role) £12.60 per hour 18 hours per week Llys Glyncoed Extra Care Scheme, Ebbw Vale, NP23 6LD The opportunity: Are you passionate about helping others and creating a welcoming environment? Join our friendly Extra Care Scheme! We are currently recruiting for a dual role within our Extra Care Scheme, offering a total of 18 hours per week. This position is split evenly between two roles: 9 hours as a Domestic Assistant 9 hours as a Food Service Assistant This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys variety in their work and is passionate about supporting others in meaningful ways.

Overview

What we need from you:

  • Experience working in a kitchen environment
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate – or a willingness to complete the required training
  • Great communication skills – you'll be engaging with tenants, visitors, and colleagues across the scheme.
  • Strong organisational skills – able to manage and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Attention to detail – ensuring high standards in both domestic and food service duties
  • A flexible, all-rounder – this is a varied role requiring adaptability
