A leading service provider in healthcare is seeking a Food Servery Assistant in Manchester. The role involves serving meals to patients and maintaining cleanliness in the Servery area. Candidates should be able to work independently and in a team. Full training will be provided, although a Food & Hygiene qualification is desirable. The position requires working 40 hours a week, including weekends.

Overview

Job Title: Food Servery Assistant

Contract: Permanent

Type of Employment: Full Time

Hours: 40 hours per week

Shift: 10am-6pm

Rate of Pay: £12.21 per hour

Location: The Meadows, Owens Farm Drive, Stockport, Cheshire, England, SK25EQ

Responsibilities

• The role covers the serving of meals to all patients 3 times a day and the candidate will be responsible for cleaning of their Servery area and hot food trolley.
• Serve meals to patients in a presentable manner, ensuring attention to allergies, dietary needs and requirements. Maintain cleanliness and good food hygiene.
• Level 2 Food & Hygiene qualification is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
• The role does include a large amount of cleaning.
• Shift starts at 10am until 6pm; you will be rostered to work some weekends. You will be contracted to work 5 shifts per week. Shift patterns may change due to business needs.
