A leading educational institution in Cardiff is seeking a Food Sciences Technician to support Food Science students in practical classes and manage health and safety. The position is term-time with excellent benefits, including pension scheme and family-friendly policies. Ideal candidates will have practical experience in food science and strong communication skills.
We are looking for a term-time (26 weeks of the year) Food Sciences Technician to join a small team working in the university’s Food Industry Centre. You’ll support Food Science students in a range of specialist teaching areas including high and low care food processing, confectionary, bakery and sensory analysis.
As a term-time position a proportion of your salary will be regarded as holiday pay to which you will be entitled together with statutory, extra statutory and concessionary holidays.
