Job summary

A manufacturing company in Essex is seeking a Food Safety Manager to ensure compliance with food safety standards and train employees on hygiene practices. The successful candidate will assist in implementing safety systems, manage audits, and maintain legislative standards. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and implementation of production equipment, product flow and separation to ensure conformity to BRC / FSSC 22000 / Hygiene and HACCP requirements.
  • Ensure the food/feed safety management system is maintained and updated.
  • Ensure all products manufactured or traded meet all aspects of current food/feed safety legislation.
  • Development and training of all site employees to ensure that hygiene and GMP is in operation at all times.
  • Scheduling and managing customer quality audits.
  • Maintain and deliver CAPA reports.

Food Safety Manager

CK Group are recruiting for a Food Safety Manager, to join an ingredients and additives manufacturing company, based in Braintree.

The Company

Our client is a manufacturer of ingredients that are supplied to the food, industrial and personal care industries.

Salary :

£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Benefits
  • 25 days (increasing by 1 day each year, up to 28 days), plus public holidays.
  • Access to pension scheme (4% employee, 4% employer contributions) and pension membership qualifies employees for life cover (6x salary) and income protection.
  • 35 hours per week, Mon-Fri (early finish on a Friday).

Food Safety Manager Role
