Job summary

Myton Food Group, part of Morrisons, is seeking a Manufacturing Key Operative - Quality Controller to perform routine checks on products and packaging to ensure food safety and legality, using systems to record data and demonstrate traceability.

You will work in a fast-paced environment with full training provided. The role includes six weeks holiday, staff discounts, pension, and health and wellbeing benefits, plus clear career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and food handling experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be given.
• Quality Control and understanding of product allergens
• Food Safety Level 2 and/or HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) Level 2

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine checks on products and packaging to ensure food safety and legality.
• Record information using relevant systems to demonstrate traceability and due diligence.
• Escalate non-conformances to prevent withdrawals or recalls.
• Perform temperature probing, swabbing, weight and size checks as required.
