Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Manufacturing Key Operative - Quality Controller at its site in Flaxby to ensure products and packaging meet food safety and legal standards. You will record data, demonstrate traceability and escalate any non-conformances to prevent recalls.

Ideal candidates have experience in manufacturing or food handling, can work in a fast-paced team, and are comfortable in cold environments, with full training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing and food handling preferred but not essential.
• Able to follow food safety procedures and record data accurately.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work in varying temperatures around 8°C and below.

Responsibilities

• Make routine checks on products and packaging for food safety and legality.
• Record information using relevant systems to demonstrate traceability and due diligence.
• Identify and escalate non-conformances to prevent withdrawals or recalls.
• Conduct temperature probes, swabbing, weight and size checks as required.
