Job summary

A family-run food company in Leicester Forest East is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance / QA Supervisor. This role involves leading a team of QA professionals, championing quality and safety standards across operations, and collaborating with various departments to resolve quality issues. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership experience in a QA role within food manufacturing and extensive knowledge of food safety regulations. This role is Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm.

Qualifications

• Proven people leadership experience in a QA / technical role within food manufacturing.
• Extensive knowledge of Food Safety and risk assessment.
• A collaborative leader with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of QA professionals.
• Champion a quality-first mindset across the organisation.
• Collaborate with departments to resolve quality issues.
• Manage audits and inspections and oversee corrective actions.
• Ensure quality control procedures align with best practices.
• Oversee all testing protocols and ensure traceability.
• Investigate and resolve customer complaints professionally.
• Assess and approve raw materials and equipment.
