Job summary

A dynamic family-owned business is seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to oversee operations in their UK facility. The ideal candidate will have a background in food manufacturing, strong people management skills, and a track record of achieving production targets. This full-time position offers a salary of approximately £35,000 per annum and entails rotating shifts. Candidates without visa sponsorship needs are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Ideally IOSH qualified or willing to attend training.
• Ideally Level 3 Food Safety qualification or willing to attend training.
• Proven track record in food manufacturing, preferably poultry/ meat processing.
• Broad knowledge of GMP standards.
• Experience operating to BRC standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee machine minders and line leaders in the factory.
• Ensure smooth operation and production schedules are achieved.
• Gather, analyze and present KPI data.
• Mentor and develop line leaders and machine minders.
• Ensure a safe working environment adhering to health standards.
