The Role
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, support and coordinate the production team to meet daily targets and quality standards
  • Implement and maintain production schedules, monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to ensure efficient production
  • Train employees on production processes and safety procedures
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions
  • Regularly collaborate and communicate with other departments
Person Specification
  • A minimum of 3 years previous experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing or industrial setting is required
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Demonstrable knowledge of food hygience and safety requirements
  • Ability to problem-solve and make decisions under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
