Qualifications

  • Previous planning or scheduling experience (preferably within food manufacturing).
  • Strong knowledge of planning methods, Excel (advanced) and planning systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Overview

Food Production Planners! Wise Employment are currently recruiting for a Food Production Planner for an established and successful food manufacturing company based in Callington, Cornwall.

This is an on‑site based permanent role working Friday to Monday 06.30am to 04.30pm. The role includes a competitive salary plus an excellent bonus package.

Responsibilities

This is an instrumental role as a Production Planner that we see you help to drive operational excellence within the business. You will direct and coordinate manufacturing processes to enable a smooth production flow, build daily/weekly/7‑day production plans that optimise resources, capacity and cost and liaise between departments to ensure excellent customer service.

Qualifications
  • Previous planning or scheduling experience (preferably within food manufacturing)
  • Strong knowledge of planning methods, Excel (advanced) and planning systems (Aurora / System 21 are desirable)
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Strong organisational and time‑management skills
