Job description
Overview

Food Production Operator – up to £13ph dependent on experience (d.o.e). Location: NN17 1QE. Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, Monday to Thursday; 7:00am – 3:30pm Friday. Type: Temporary to Permanent. Immediate start. Parking available.

Responsibilities
  • Read recipes and collect raw materials from the warehouse, measure ingredients in line with the recipe, and perform regular lifting and pouring into the mixing hopper.
  • Set temperature and timings on cooking machinery; form product into shapes and place into cooking equipment; restart process for next batch.
  • Quality check cooked products; rack product for cooling; move product to packing department.
  • Complete all production paperwork and ensure adherence to food safety standards at all times.
Requirements/Qualifications
  • A good working knowledge of operating in a food production environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work to targets.
  • Reach FLT licence is desirable but not essential.
  • Supportive,1-to-1 onboarding to become familiar with company processes and procedures.
  • Experience in Production Operative, Mixing Operator, or Production Assistant roles within a food manufacturing environment is advantageous.
