Overview

Looking to earn money for Christmas?

Direct Table Foods is recruiting for a full-time Food Production Operative to join its team for our Christmas period.

We supply the nation and all the major supermarkets with Christmas products such as pigs in blankets and gammon, and we are looking for new colleagues to join us for our busy Christmas period.

We have an AM shift and PM shift, which are Monday to Fridays with potential overtime that is paid at time and a half.

HOURS: 6am to 2.30pm or 2.30pm to 11pm (not a rotating shift)

DAYS: Monday to Friday

PAY: £12.36 per hour

CONTRACT: Fixed term contract to the end of December 2025. With possible permanent contracts afterwards.

Role responsibilities

• Previous experience in a food production environment is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
