Food Production Manager - Derby
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day production activities, ensuring schedules are met and workflows run efficiently
- Lead, motivate, and develop kitchen staff to deliver consistent high-quality results
- Operate and oversee sauce kettles/jacketed kettles for large-batch cooking
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times
- Monitor quality control, stock levels, and production output to meet demand
- Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and product consistency
What We\'re Looking For
- Proven management or supervisory experience in a food production or manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience using industrial cooking kettles (sauces, soups, ready meals, etc.)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- In-depth knowledge of food hygiene and HACCP requirements
- A proactive approach with the ability to problem-solve and manage a fast-paced kitchen
