Job summary

Krispy Kreme Peterborough is seeking a Food Processing Operative to join our busy production lines. You’ll be involved in mixing our secret ingredients, filling, decorating and boxing doughnuts by hand in a fast-paced environment.

Whether working in a standalone factory or a theatre-store setting, you’ll help deliver fresh doughnuts to customers, with the doughnut-making process on display when the hot light is on.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work an 8 hour shift according to site schedule.
• Willingness to work between Monday and Sunday.
• Quality focused with good teamwork and craft mastery.

In our standalone factories, you’ll join a dedicated team responsible for mixing, processing, and packaging our world-famous doughnuts — fresh and ready to ship to local stores and supermarket shelves. It’s fast-paced, hands‑on work where every role plays a key part in our success.

Depending on the location, you may be applying to work in one of our unique theatre stores — where the factory is front and centre, and the doughnut‑making magic happens live for customers to see. When the Hot light is on, it’s showtime! Guests gather to watch the doughnuts being mixed, fried, and glazed in real time — and your part of the performance.

No baking experience? No problem. We provide full training — all you need is a great attitude, a team mindset, and a readiness to learn. Whether you're behind the scenes or in the spotlight, this is your chance to grow your career while making something people love.

What will I do as a Food Processing Operative:

You’ll be responsible for mixing our secret ingredients, filling, decorating, and boxing all our yummy doughnuts by hand daily. You’ll work, in a fast‑paced and versatile manufacturing environment, with tight deadlines especially during peak times throughout the week and year. Expectations of quality and food safety standards are high; therefore, consistency and ability to follow food processing specifications is key.

What we’re looking for in a Food Processing Operative:

• Flexibility to work an 8 hour / day, in line with site specific manufacturing shift requirements
• Excellent availability to work between Monday to Sunday
• Quality focused, team players, who are looking to master their craft, while not taking themselves too seriously
• Excellent work ethic, reliability, coachability and a positive attitude
