Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment is recruiting experienced Food Production & Packing operatives for a client in Wigston, Leicester. The role follows a 4 on 4 off pattern with 12-hour shifts, days 6am–6pm or nights 6pm–6am.

Responsibilities include packing baked goods, placing items on trays, some manual handling, and moving trolleys in a warehouse. Canteen facilities and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous food production or food packing experience is desirable.
• Able to work 12 hour shifts.
• Able to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
• Access to Wigston for 6am starts (no public transport until a bit later).

Thorn Baker are looking to recruit experienced Food Production & Packing operatives for their client based in Wigston, Leicester

The Job:

Working on a 4 on 4 off shift - either Days or Nights

Day Shift is 6am-6pm

Night Shift is 6pm-6am

• Packing of baked items
• Putting items onto trays
• Some manual handing work needed in some departments
• Working warehouse or moving trolleys around
• Excellent clean working conditions
• Canteen facilities
• On-going training & support offered

Salary is £13.52 per hour for days and £14.87 per hour for nights

About you:

• Previous food production or food packing experience is desirable
• Able to work 12 hour shifts
• Able to work on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern
• Access to get to Wigston for 6am starts or finish at 6am as there is no public transport until a bit later
