Job summary

itsu in London is seeking a Food Operations & Process Developer to take new and existing products from development through trial, launch and post-launch review, ensuring recipes, preparation methods and processes are safe, consistent and practical across all shop formats.

You will act as the link between food development and shop execution, collaborating with Food, Operations, How To, Technical, Supply Chain and the Rice & Fish Quality Specialist.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in high-volume food operations and food development.
• Ability to run trials and translate concepts into repeatable shop processes.
• Good judgment to identify whether quality issues are due to ingredient, process, or execution.
• Organised with a track record of managing development through launch and continuous improvement.
• Curious, practical and focused on improving daily food preparation and service.

Responsibilities

• Brings practical shop thinking into food development so products can be prepared safely and efficiently across the estate.
• Leads trials, validates recipes and processes, owns the operational readiness assessment and escalates issues before rollout.
• Develops and owns clear food preparation methods and technical content for training shop teams.
• Works with Rice & Fish Quality Specialist and other teams to investigate issues and implement solutions.
• Leads post-launch operational review using shop feedback and performance data.
