Job summary

Staffline is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative at our food logistics site in Northwich. The role involves picking, packing and distributing products with voice-picking systems and material handling equipment, across multiple warehouse areas. Shifts include mornings, afternoons and nights with varying start times.

You should have strong English communication, be reliable, and flexible. Full training is provided; temp-to-perm opportunity with on-site canteen and parking.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have good English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must pass Drug & Alcohol test prior to induction at the site.
• Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential; full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders using voice-picking systems and MHE.
• Work across multiple warehouse areas: unloading, checking, transporting, loading, replenishing stock.
• Operate MHE safely, including Fork Lift Trucks where trained.
• Complete picking accurately, using system-led or paper-based processes.
• Carry out equipment and trailer checks for safety and compliance.
• Build and wrap secure loads; monitor stock levels and report shortages.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment.
