Job summary

Waitrose & Partners is looking for a customer-focused Partner on our service counters to share passion for food and ethical sourcing. You’ll build relationships with customers, recommend recipes, and help maximise sales while upholding Waitrose standards.

You’ll work as part of a supportive shop team, with flexible hours and DBS checks where required, in a role that rewards dedication and teamwork across our stores.

Qualifications

• Communication skills to enable you to work effectively as part of a team and with our customers.

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility for own food counter with high presentation and hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels to ensure popular products are available when needed.
• Handle open food with due diligence and follow health & safety protocols to reduce waste.
• Maintain knowledge of new products and align with Waitrose values (e.g. animal welfare).
• Support the wider shop team with general shopkeeping tasks.
