Upham Inn in Winchester is seeking Food & Beverage Team Members to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. You will work with a friendly team to provide welcome, orders, and service across bar and dining areas.

Ideal candidates enjoy learning, are energetic, and motivated to grow within a professional hospitality environment. Flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old due to licensing laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good decision-making and confidence under pressure.
• Organised with strong attention to detail.
• Solid knowledge of food, wine and beer.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be flexible to work weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Greet guests and welcome them to the pub.
• Take food and drink orders and handle payments.
• Serve beverages, including alcohol, to guests.
• Keep the restaurant clean and presentable at all times.
• Assist with managerial requests and guest needs.
• Ensure high-quality service during busy periods.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
• Be eager to learn new skills and take on new opportunities.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.

Restaurant Team member Requirements

• Be at Least 18 year of age due to licensing laws
• You’ll be a great communicator
• You’ll have great decision-making skills
• You should be confident

• General knowledge of food, wine and beer

• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

Restaurant Team member Responsibilities:

• Welcoming guests in the pub
• Taking food & drink orders and handling cash/card payments
• Serving hot & cold beverages including alcohol
• Ensure cleanliness throughout the restaurant
• Assisting with managerial requests
• Looking after and caring for our guests throughout their whole experience
• Balancing high volume with high quality
• Participating in ongoing training and development
• Must have an eagerness to take advantage of new opportunities
• Learning different skills
