Job summary

Upham Inns is reopening The Red Lion in Leighton Buzzard and inviting friendly, enthusiastic people to join the Front of House team. You’ll deliver warm hospitality, guide guests through menus and help create memorable experiences in a busy pub environment.

We offer flexible shifts, training and development to progress toward supervisory roles, and perks such as staff discounts and access to our Lifestyle Card. Be part of a welcoming team bringing the pub back to life.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and settle them in with warmth.

Your part in the experience

Depending on your role and training, you’ll help to:

• Make every welcome count, greeting guests warmly and helping them settle in.

• Bring our menu to life, sharing recommendations and helping guests find their next favourite.

• Serve food and drinks with care, keeping an eye on the details that make a difference.

• Keep the pub looking its best, creating a clean, comfortable and inviting space.

• Keep service flowing, communicating with the kitchen and supporting your teammates.

• Look after guests safely, following allergen procedures, responsible alcohol service requirements and health and safety standards.

You’ll also need the right to work in the UK.
