Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food & Beverage (F&B) Assistant to join our team at Benton Hall Golf & Country Club. You will play a crucial part in shaping the guest experience by delivering outstanding service and ensuring memorable dining experiences for both Club Members and guests.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor, you will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service and quality, setting up spaces, greeting guests, and upselling offerings

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing role desirable.
• Excellent standard of presentation is essential.

Responsibilities

• Setting up tables and event spaces, greeting and serving guests.
• Delivering food and drinks promptly and maintaining well-stocked bar areas.
• Upselling offerings and handling money procedures.
• Flexibly assisting in front-of-house areas, including Barista duties.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Food & Beverage ( F&B ) Assistant. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the guest experience by delivering outstanding service and ensuring memorable dining experiences for both Club Members and guests. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager/Supervisor, you will help uphold our reputation for exceptional service and quality.

As a Food & Beverage ( F&B ) Assistant, you will be responsible for setting up tables and event spaces, greeting and serving guests, delivering food and drinks promptly, maintaining well-stocked bar areas, upselling offerings, clearing and cleaning tables, ensuring money handling procedures are followed, and flexibly assisting in various front‑of‑house areas, including full bar and Barista duties.

Experience & Skills Required

• Previous experience in a customer facing role desirable


• Food safety certification and/or HACCP certified is desirable

Schedule

• We operate a 7-days a week business, between 0600 to 2300


• Shift patterns will vary as per business requirements and encompass all opening hours - weekends and bank holidays


• Evening availability for functions (until 0200)
