Food & Beverage Assistant - Staybridge Suites, Liverpool.

Responsibilities

• To ensure that the highest standards of food and beverage and hospitality are demonstrated at all times
• Assist with receiving and storage of goods
• The preparation of hot food
• Maintain good food safety, hygiene standards and practices
• Assist with the preparation of a food and beverage outlet for service including: Cleaning of equipment; Cleaning and maintaining glassware and china for service; Preparation of tables; Serving of beverages; Recording of replacement stock; Billing procedures of items consumed in line with hotel policy; Ordering and storage of minibar items
• Establish and maintain effective employee working relationships
• Attend and participate in daily briefings and other meetings as scheduled
• Demonstrate service attributes in accordance with industry expectations and company standards
• Maintain a high level of knowledge which will enhance the guest experience
• Demonstrate a service attitude that exceeds expectations
• Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints
• Appreciate the dynamic nature of the hotel industry and extend these service attributes to all internal customers
• Be able to promote the hotel products and services
• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Life Safety
• Perform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by your line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals
