Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Assistant to support residents and visitors with meals and refreshments in a warm, welcoming home. Shifts are 08:00–16:30 with rotational weekends, three days per week, offering a dynamic environment where teamwork, hygiene and customer service are valued.

You’ll prepare dining areas, serve residents and assist with kitchen duties to maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, catering or customer service.
• Friendly, caring and professional approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety practices.
• Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Food & Beverage Assistant at Barchester Healthcare, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for our residents, families and visitors. From serving meals and refreshments to ensuring dining areas are clean, comfortable and inviting, you'll help make every mealtime a positive experience.

Working closely with our hospitality and kitchen teams, you'll support the day-to-day delivery of food and beverage services throughout the home. Whether you're preparing dining areas, serving residents or assisting with kitchen duties, your friendly approach and attention to detail will help us deliver the high standards we're known for.

• Experience in a hospitality, catering or customer service environment
