Job summary

Parkdean Resorts UK Limited is hiring a Kitchen Assistant for the Scoops Ice Cream Parlour at Newquay Holiday Park. You will serve ice cream treats, hot drinks and snacks with friendly, efficient service in a fast-paced environment.

Full training will be provided, and you’ll help keep the parlour clean, well-stocked and compliant with food hygiene standards while working shifts including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in café, hospitality or customer service is an advantage, but full training will be provided.
• Reliable and punctual
• Ability to work well under pressure

Join our buzzing holiday park team this season! We're looking for a friendly, hardworking individual to join our Scoops Ice Cream Parlour.

You'll be serving delicious ice cream, waffles, crêpes, milkshakes and coffees while providing excellent customer service in a fun, fast-paced environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Serving ice cream, waffles, crêpes, milkshakes and hot drinks
• Delivering friendly and efficient customer service
• Operating the till and handling payments
• Preparing food and drinks to a high standard
• Keeping the parlour clean, tidy and well-stocked
• Following food hygiene and health & safety procedures

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys working with people and providing great customer service
• Can work well under pressure in a busy environment
• Is reliable, punctual and a great team player
• Previous café, hospitality or customer service experience is an advantage, but full training will be provided
