Who we are!

We are currently looking for a passionate Food and Beverage Assistant / Waiter to join the team here at Bankside Hotel - Voted one of the 'Best Places to Work Hospitality'. Sitting consistently in the top tier of all the hotels in London on Trip Advisor, Bankside Hotel is a social hub for anyone, guest or local, with a passion for culture, art and food. What you will be doing?

• Greeting guests as they arrive at the restaurant, directing guests to tables and providing menus.
• Booking any reservations and keeping reservation slots up to date.
• Arranging tables and assisting with the preparation of floor.
• Taking orders and delivering food to guests and assisting them during their meal.
• Assisting Chefs by sourcing ingredients from the stock room or the kitchen.
• Keeping the bar and drinks stocked with beverages at all times.
• Clearing down tables and chairs after the events as well as assisting in closing the restaurant after a shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience at a high pace restaurant environment.
• Available full time, flexible to do morning, day and evening shifts.
• Ability to provide guests with the up to date information and advice on food as well as beverage.
• Knowledge of food and table preparation techniques.
• Ability to demonstrate ownership and communicate effectively with team members.
• Good level of English and communication skills. (Other languages are always desirable!)
