As Food and Beverage Assistant you will ensure guests have a positive, first‑class dining experience. You will greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, handle payments, maintain a clean and organised dining area, restock supplies, and assist with food preparation as needed while supporting the wider business. Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail are essential, and you will always work with Aimbridge’s four pillars of Food and Beverage in mind: People, Product, Guest, Performance.

Location: Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel, 12 acres, 4‑star manor house, Grange Park Lane, Willerby, Hull, East Yorkshire, HU10 6EA.

Responsibilities
  • Greet guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and handle payments.
  • Maintain a clean and organised dining area, restock supplies, and assist with food preparation as needed.
  • Work agilely to support the wider business across the hotel.
  • Ensure a first‑class dining experience, aligning with Aimbridge’s pillars: People, Product, Guest, Performance.
Qualifications
  • Food and Beverage experience is not essential, but a passion for exceptional service and adherence to brand standards is required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage guests in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with staff to support colleagues across the hotel.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organised dining area.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
