Main duties of the job

The Food and Beverage Assistant role at Sonning Gardens Care Home in Reading involves supporting the dining service and assisting residents with their meals. This includes supporting residents with choosing meal options, ensuring dining tables are set up to standard, keeping the front of the house clean and tidy, replenishing food and drink options, and being aware of residents' dietary requirements.

Keeping the front of the house clean, tidy, and well-presented and ensuring dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day. Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger food and fresh fruit options.
