Job summary

Sonia Friedman Productions is seeking a skilled Follow Spot Operator to support the West End production 'Paddington The Musical' at the Savoy Theatre in London.

You will work closely with the Chief LX and the Stage Manager, cueing cues, compiling a cue sheet, and ensuring health and safety compliance.

Essential experience includes: prior follow spot on a large West End show, stage running etiquette, and experience with remote follow spot systems (Macula). You must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience operating follow spots on large West End productions.
• Ability to write clear cue sheets for coverage during absences.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices in theatre.
• Familiarity with remote follow spot systems (Macula) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Follow Spot Operator for the production, executing cues as directed by the Lighting Designer.
• Write a comprehensive cue sheet to ensure coverage if personnel are absent.
• Ensure all staff and areas you oversee comply with health and safety regulations.
