Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) seeks an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality across a busy FMCG manufacturing site. You will lead the quality function, develop a team, and drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

You will report to the Plant Manager and work with multiple departments to reduce the cost of non-quality while enhancing customer satisfaction and product quality. Strong leadership and technical expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in FMCG manufacturing quality management.
• Lead Auditor qualification in ISO/BRCGS or FSSC 22000.
• Strong understanding of QMS and food safety standards.
• Experience with customer complaints and root cause investigations.
• SPC knowledge and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site Quality team with clear objectives.
• Implement a risk-based quality control plan across manufacturing.
• Manage and improve the site's Quality Management System (QMS).
• Lead transition from BRCGS to FSSC 22000; HACCP reviews.
• Build strong relationships with customers and suppliers; drive improvements.
