Job summary

A leading FMCG provider is seeking a Manufacturing / Water Treatment Engineer to ensure engineering excellence and safety compliance. This role involves maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment, minimizing equipment downtime, and working closely with operational teams to improve processes. Candidates should have hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing, with strong problem-solving skills and familiarity with safety legislation. An NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential, and a HNC in Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Proven hands-on engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Multi-skilled in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills with a track record of improving reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Perform planned and preventative maintenance tasks within CMMS.
  • Respond promptly to breakdowns and failures.
  • Lead or support shutdown activities during Asset Care Windows.
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

Education
