Qualifications

  • Time served as an apprenticeship or equivalent training in Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC.
  • Solid understanding of facilities management practices (desirable).
  • BOAS Trained (desirable).
  • Good focus on detail, with a safety-first approach.
  • Full clean driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out on-site operation and maintenance support on various industrial utilities.
  • Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works to meet customer expectations.
  • Monitor contractors and ensure compliance with standards.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and compliance with regulations.

Salary: £41,000 - £45,000 per annum plus Veolia benefits

Hours: 43 hours per week Monday to Friday also working on a 1 in 3 weekend shift rota

Location: Nutricia, Wavertree, Liverpool, L7 9PT

What you’ll be doing
  • Carrying out on-site operation and maintenance support on a range of industrial utilities such as Refrigeration, LPHW, Steam, Chilled Water, AHUs, LTHW, Compressed Air, CO₂, Nitrogen, CIP system, Sprinkler system, Fire Alarm system, Lifting equipment, etc.
  • Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the customer within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
  • Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
  • Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and cost efficiency within the FM team.
  • Monitoring and maintaining accurate maintenance records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
  • Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents / records are maintained accurately.
What we’re looking for
  • Time served as an apprenticeship or equivalent training in an Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC bias with a hands‑on, problem‑solving attitude and a background in facilities or maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of facilities management practices (desirable but not essential).
  • BOAS Trained (desirable but not essential).
  • Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and cost efficiency within the FM team.
  • Good focus on detail, with a safety‑first approach.
  • Health and safety awareness e.g IOSH qualifications.
  • Clear communicator and effective team player.
  • Full clean driving licence.
