Job description

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the customer within set time frames so that the customer expectations are met.
• Undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including monitoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that relevant standards are met.
• Evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and cost efficiency within the FM team.
• Monitor and maintain accurate maintenance records, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.
• Ensure that administration requirements are actioned on time and all necessary documents/records are maintained accurately.

Qualifications

• Time served as an apprenticeship or equivalent training in an Electrical, Mechanical or HVAC bias with a hands‑on, problem‑solving attitude and a background in facilities or maintenance.
• Solid understanding of facilities management practices (desirable but not essential).
• BOAS Trained (desirable but not essential).
• Good focus on detail, with a safety‑first approach.
• Health and safety awareness, e.g., IOSH qualifications.
• Clear communicator and effective team player.
• Full clean driving licence.

• Carrying out on‑site operation and maintenance support on a range of industrial utilities such as: Refrigeration, LPHW, Steam, Chilled Water, AHUs, LTHW, Compressed Air, CO2, Nitrogen, CIP system, Sprinkler system, Fire Alarm system, Lifting equipment etc.
