Job summary

Franco Manca Greenwich is hiring a Pizza Second Chef to support the Head Chef and keep the heart of the pizzeria beating strong. You will help deliver consistently amazing food and lead by example in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and keep the kitchen running smoothly.
• Work with the Head Chef to deliver consistently amazing food.
• Take responsibility for key kitchen areas, from prep to safety.
• Train and support junior team members with their development.
• Remain calm under pressure and lead when the Head Chef is absent.
• Hands-on role, from dough stretching to pizza creation.

• You’ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistently amazing food, ensuring every pizza is a masterpiece.
• Take responsibility for key areas of the kitchen, from food prep and quality control to maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
• Help train and support junior members of the team, sharing your skills and passion for great food.
• Keep calm under pressure and lead the team when the Head Chef isn’t around.
• Play a hands-on role, from stretching dough to creating pizzas that make our guests smile.
