Job summary

Big Potato is seeking a technical lead to own the Flutter companion app, while handling backend development with Node/TypeScript and MongoDB, and maintaining the Next.js/React web platform. You’ll collaborate closely with a Senior Game Developer, using AI‑accelerated workflows to ship faster and reduce manual work.

Essentially, you’ll own the mobile app end‑to‑end, build new daily games, integrate third‑party services, and ensure scalable, maintainable integrations across platforms.

Qualifications

• Strong Flutter/Dart experience and ownership of production apps.
• Solid backend experience with Node.js/TypeScript, MongoDB and API development.
• Experience integrating third‑party services (e.g. Shopify, payments, auth).
• Comfort using AI tools to accelerate development and improve workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the Flutter companion app end‑to‑end: architecture, features, releases and quality.
• Maintain and evolve the Node/TypeScript + MongoDB backend and APIs.
• Keep the web platform (Next.js/React) up to date and reliable.
• Leverage AI to speed up coding, testing and automation across the stack.
